He Panorama Media Group and the Santo Domingo Catholic University (UCSD) signed this Wednesday a strategic alliance that will allow promoting the academic and practical training of students of Communication Social and Advertising, through internship programs and joint projects.
He agreement consider that the students can be integrated into the different operational areas of the multimedia group, including writing, production, editing, graphic design and digital content management, with the aim of bringing them closer to the real exercise of the journalism and the communication strategic, indicates a press release.

As part of the agreement, the Panorama Media Group will sponsor the creation of the Panorama Group Newsroom inside the university campusa space intended for training practices in journalismaudiovisual production and digital content.
The agreement was signed by the rector of the UCSDReverend Father Doctor José Luis de la Cruz, and the CEO of the Panorama Media Group, Michael Medina.
The rector highlighted that the alliance strengthens the comprehensive training of the students and reinforces the academy’s commitment to more applied and contextualized teaching.
“We believe in the importance of establishing strategic alliances that contribute to the development of the critical thinking and the preparation of professionals with solid values and practical skills“said De la Cruz.
For his part, Medina pointed out that the agreement is part of the institutional vision of the group to support the education and development of new generations of communicators.
- “This alliance allows us to contribute our experience to the academic field and actively contribute to the training of professionals in communication and related areas,” he indicated.
Furthermore, the UCSD will offer academic facilities to the collaborators of the Panorama Media Groupincluding access to workshops, diploma courses and degree programs.
