Despite the fact that minutes before they indicated that they would respect the right to work of the merchants, dozens of protesters walked several streets of the Huancayo checkerboard, forcing the closure of the stalls of the markets, model, wholesale and others. With profanity and carrying sticks, they spread panic in this place.
“They must support the people”, “the people do not give up”, they pointed out. A police contingent accompanied the march to prevent looting. There were attempts at anger between protesters and merchants, since indignation reigned. “We don’t want problems, support the strike”, “close your doors”, they were warned. “We want to work,” the merchants responded. However, there was also a group that supported them.
At all times the National Police tried to preserve order, preventing them from entering the markets and urging them to continue their march in the most peaceful way possible.
