The 4th edition will take place on Saturday, December 6
With performances by prominent national and foreign artists, the show will take place on the esplanade of the Shopping Parking lot in the city of Rio Branco.
Like every year, entry to this space is free of charge and on this occasion the Government of Cerro Largo will provide several buses so that low-income families from Melo can travel and participate.
“All activities are important to us, but I want to stop a little bit on something that a long time ago should have had the magnitude of dissemination by the Departmental Government, such as the PANDA FEST activity.” said the Mayor of Cerro Largo.
“PANDA FEST is a great effort by private entrepreneurs to bring a completely free event to this department. That throughout these years went unnoticed by the Departmental Government, but not by the Municipal Government of Río Branco, which was always supporting” remarked Christian Morel.
The Communal Chief recognized all the contribution that Andrés Mendelson has made to Río Branco since 2016, when the foundation stone for Shopping was laid. “When we thought that we had given him everything with that great investment from the group he represents, 4 years ago he made the decision to organize this party” stood out.
“We are going to have 4, 5 or 6 buses, which the Municipality of Cerro Largo will pay for, to take people for free to the city of Río Branco to be part of this event” advertisement.
“Then we will make the decision how we are going to deliver this kind of free ticket to the activity. A percentage will be for low-income municipal officials and another percentage we will see how we make it reach the population” Morel said at the launch event of the 4th Edition of PANDA FEST.
“I confirm that the Municipality of Cerro Largo is going to make an investment in placing that number of buses so that the maximum number of people from the entire department can be present there that day.” he insisted.
“That day was exclusively for PANDA FEST” he synthesized. “The Municipality of Cerro Largo will not be supporting any activity other than PANDA” stated the Mayor of Cerro Largo.
A FESTIVAL FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
“Panda was born with the idea of giving back something nice to the people who accompany us, to Río Branco, to the Municipality at the time and to Cerro Largo in general. This took on such magnitude, it grew so much, that today it became a cultural event, an event that unites families, that unites children, people, where we seek to contemplate all of this to give back to them that company that they give us all year long” said Valentina Spinelli.
“There are more than 8,000 people who come and gather in the Panda parking lot to celebrate this beautiful thing that is music, something that unites people a lot” said the Marketing Manager of Panda Free Shop and person in charge of organizing the Festival.
“This year we are lucky to be able to bring Rodrigo Tapari who is an international artist, who has many years of career and who everyone knows; we will also have Luana who is a tremendous national artist and Lucas Sugo who is also very loved in the area” confirmed in relation to the artists who will perform on stage.
“There is a great team behind us working every day to make Panda what it is and grow more every day” said Valentina Spinelli.
