Panamanians can’t take it anymore! From this Friday the gasoline goes up again

Starting at 6:00 am this Friday, May 6, the new maximum sales prices for liquid fuel in Panama will come into force.

According to what is established by the National Secretariat of Energy, for the provinces of Panama and Colón, a liter of 95-octane gasoline will cost B/.1,271 (+0.051); while the 91 octane will be at B/.1,199 (+0.034), and the cost of a liter of diesel will be B/.1,360 (+0.113).

When making the conversion, the 95 octane gasoline will increase B/.0.19 per gallon; the 91 octane B/.0.13; and diesel B/.0.43.

The new prices will be in effect until 5:59 am on Friday, May 20, 2022.
