This Sunday, November 21, the internal elections of the Panamanian party will be held, to choose members of the different positions that make up this political body.
According to the National Elections Commission, conventional representatives, delegates from the Women’s Secretariat, the Youth Secretariat, district and circuit boards of directors will be chosen.
“We will elect our local party authorities with the direct vote of the membership. Every registered person has the right and the opportunity to be part of the renewal of the Panameñista Party ”, indicated the president of the group, José Isabel Blandón.
Electoral Tribunal (TE) personnel will supervise these internal elections.
A total of 291,736 voters that make up the party’s membership will cast their vote at 926 tables, distributed in 681 voting centers.
The election will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will end at 4:00 p.m.
The six positions to be chosen are for a period of five years. On October 3, the application period closed.
