Panamanian Jean Carlos “Oli” González from Panama won a Silver medal at the Pan American Surfing held in Playa Venao, Pedasí, Los Santos province.

González, with a score of 13.40, gave the medal to Panama, which celebrated with the entire public that witnessed the finals of the last day of the Pan American Open Men category.

His victory as a silver medal is due to “joint effort and many hours of work,” said González.

Gold went to Mateus Sena from Brazil with a score of 13.76, bronze went to Lucca Mesinas from Peru with 13.37 and 4th place went to Miguel Tudela from Peru with 12.03 points.

This championship, which takes place in this district, has contributed to reviving tourism in the sector with 100% hotel occupancy during the tournament.
