The Panamanian Football League is very satisfied with the work carried out by the Attorney General’s Office, thanks to the support of the Panamanian Football Federation and all the Clubs, in Operation “Claw” with the aim of eradicating harmful practices that affect football globally.
The Panamanian Football League and its clubs have provided collaboration and relevant information to the Integrity Unit of the Panamanian Football Federation. In addition, these practices are categorically rejected and it is emphasized that an active campaign has been maintained promoting fair play, both on and off the field in favor of national football.
Today, as a result of these investigations, a historic event has occurred in our football with the arrest of several players and a former player, who are subject to a criminal investigation by the First Superior Prosecutor’s Office Against Organized Crime.
The Panamanian Football League stresses that it will continue to support the authorities to eradicate these practices that undermine football.
