Panamanian athletes stand out in Pan American Modern Pentathlon

The athlete Juan David Ibarra won the silver medal in the U17 men’s Laser Run (shooting + running) + obstacles relay event at the Pan American Modern Pentathlon.

The Panamanian team achieved 3 individual medals and one relay medal in the obstacle course.

?U17 Ladies Obstacles, Daniela Gobea achieved the silver medal with 261 points, the gold went to the Cuban Diana Cubertier with 266 points and the bronze to Victoria Ramirez from Cuba with 237 points.

?Obstacles U17 Men, Juan David Ibarra achieved the bronze medal with 323 points, the gold went to Luciano Rios from Peru with 346 points and the silver went to Renzo Cifuentes from Peru with 330 points.

?Open Obstacles open category, José Guitian achieved the bronze medal with 322 points, the gold went to the Dominican José Osoria with 341 points and the silver to Juan Velazquez from Cuba with 329 points

?In the Obstacles relay event, the team made up of Daniela Gobea/Juan David Ibarra from Panama together with Reilly O Boyle (USA)/Emiliano Mac Naught (Mex) achieved the bronze medal with 383 points, the gold went to Cuba team 2 with 386 points, silver for Cuba 1 with 383 points, 4th place Mixed team 2 (Dominican Republic/Cuba) with 370 points, 5th place Guatemala with 332 points, and 6th place Peru with 282 points .
