“This resolution will be presented to the President of the Republic Laurentino Cortizo Cohen for the restriction of entry to the country, since our interest is to safeguard the lives of residents throughout the national territory, as has been done in the different ports of entry to the country. country ”, Sucre stressed.
The countries included in that list are all African republics, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, he said, since it is where this new variant has caused a community contagion and its behavior is not known effectively.
“The guarantee is that in these ports of entry there are Minsa teams, such as the AIG, Migration and the Ministry of Security activated and on alert, since since the pandemic began an hour before the traceability of those who come on the flight “, said.
On the other hand, Minister Sucre said that businessmen must guarantee the safety of those who attend their premises by verifying the cards or QR codes, adding that this is a health measure and “not exclusion.
“The businessman who does not want to request this, well, he uses the 50% capacity to guarantee the proper separation of the tables or of the people inside the premises, but they must choose one of the two, it is not worth anyone’s live game with everything what has been won and go back, ”Sucre said.
There are slight increases in cases in Los Santos, Veraguas and Chiriquí, said Sucre, who invited citizens to move forward with the vaccination process and continue with biosecurity measures.
