Panama will face Cuba in the round of 16 of the Concacaf U-17 Championship

The Panama Men’s National Team will face Cuba this Sunday, February 19, in the round of 16 of the Concacaf U-17 Men’s Championship where the winner will be advancing to the quarterfinals and will have the opportunity to seek one of the 4 direct tickets for the World Cup of this category to be held in Peru.

Panama qualified undefeated in Group E by beating Guatemala 1-0, in its second game it beat Curaçao 4-0 and tied 1-1 with Mexico, although it ended tied with 7 points in first place, the Mexicans with better goal difference they took first place.

Cuba entered the round of 16 in the last game, in their first game they lost 4-2 against Jamaica, then they lost by a landslide 4-0 against Costa Rica and beat Guadeloupe 4-0 to get third in the group G with 3 points and a better goal difference than Guadalupe.

This match will be at 7 pm this Sunday, February 18, at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores stadium in Guatemala City.
