In this Saturday’s report, the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) indicates that 444, 460,554 accumulated confirmed cases of Covid-19 are reported in the world; 375, 178,728 recovered and 6,012,447 deaths for a lethality of 1.4%.
While in Panama, 757,487 accumulated confirmed cases have been reported to date, of which 426 are new cases. In the last 24 hours, 4 deaths were registered and one from previous dates is updated for a cumulative of 8,111 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%.
Those recovered amount to 745,464, of which 730 are new recovered. 6,496 tests were applied for a positivity of 6.6%.
Active cases add up to 3,912, of which 3,742 are in home isolation and 170 hospitalized.
Those in isolation are divided into 3,710 at home and 32 staying in hotels. Those hospitalized are 144 in the ward and 26 in the ICU.
