Panama reports 262 positive cases, 7,360 accumulated deaths and 22 patients in ICU due to Covid-19

The positive cases by Covid -19 for this Thursday, November 25, counts 262 positive cases, raising the number of infections to 476,873.

1 death is registered, in addition, 1 additional death from a previous day is updated, maintaining a cumulative 7,360 deaths for a lethality of 1.5%.

In the last 24 hours, 7,695 tests were applied for a positivity of 3.4%.

Active cases total 2,663, of which 2,547 are in home isolation, of which 2,464 are at home and 83 in hospital hotels.

Meanwhile 116 patients are hospitalized, 94 of them are in the ward and 22 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The health authorities reiterate the call to the population not to lower their guard and follow biosecurity measures such as the use of a mask, the use of a face shield in public passenger transport, frequent hand washing, and physical distancing.
