Panama registers 201 positive cases, 1 death and 38 patients in ICU due to Covid-19

The Ministry of Health in its epidemiological report for this Friday, October 29, counts 201 new positive cases for a cumulative total of 472,398.

The number of recovered patients to date amounts to 462,681, while 7,996 new tests were applied, which maintains a positivity percentage of 2.5%.

In the last 24 hours, 1 death was registered, totaling a cumulative 7,315 and a fatality of 1.5%.

Active cases total 2,183, while 2,009 are reported in home isolation and 89 patients are in hospital hotels.

The hospitalized number 174 patients of which 38 are in the intensive care room.

The authorities remind the population that, although the vaccination process advances, it is important not to lower our guard since the battle against COVID-19 has not been won
