Panama registers 1,614 positives, 36,499 active cases and 79 patients in ICU

The Ministry of Health in its epidemiological report for this Monday, February 7, records 1,614 new cases for a cumulative of 729,027.

In the last hours, 13 deaths were registered, in addition, 3 deaths from previous dates are updated for a cumulative of 7,860 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%.

Active cases total 36,499, while 8,099 tests were applied for a positivity of 19.9%-

In home isolation there are 35,690 and 153 in hospital hotels.

Hospitalized patients are 577 in the ward and 79 are in the Intensive Care Unit.

The Ministry of Health reminds the population NOT TO LOWER THEIR GUARD and continue to apply biosafety measures, such as the use of the mask, alcohol gel, facial screen in public passenger transport, hand washing, physical distancing and the use of of alcohol.
