“We inform the general population that the monovalent vaccine will no longer be produced, all the people who are waiting to receive a new dose of the monovalent to complete the primary schedule, we are going to vaccinate simultaneously with incomplete schedules such as people with complete primary scheme to all people with bivalent as a booster to the entire population”, Hewitt highlighted.
Hewitt called on parents to strengthen immunity against the virus in their children between the ages of 5 and 11, with the pediatric bivalent vaccine.
Hewitt explained that the new batch of doses with the bivalent vaccine will be distributed equitably according to the population denominator, to all regions of the country.
