The presidential candidate for free nomination, Francisco Carreira, was on Radio Panama this Thursday talking about decentralization, fuels, mining, among other topics.

When talking about decentralization, he criticized Economy Minister Héctor Alexander, when he implied that he was only in charge of signing the budget. In this sense, he stated that it seems an act of corruption to give a group of community boards large amounts of money coinciding with the internal elections in the PRD. He added that the Executive has deleted the word transparency from the Panamanian political dictionary.

Referring to his government proposals, he reiterated the need to create new jobs in non-traditional and specific areas. In addition to this, he indicated that Panama is the number one country in world flagship, but it does not have enough personnel to work in these fleets.

The presidential candidate also said that Panama has the market and not the business of supplying fuel and lubricants to the more than 24,000 ships that arrive each year, so the country must have the best refinery that manages quality fuels at reasonable prices. competitive internationally. That refinery would provide six thousand jobs, he assured.
