For the past 7 months, Metro de Panamá, SA (MPSA) has adjusted its operational strategy, starting commercial service at 4:30 am, coordinating internal logistics for the entry of our staff.
However, this Friday they reported that as of Tuesday December 27, 2022, will return to the regular hours of operations on Line 1 and Line 2.
The Metro explained that after the adjustment made in May 2022, user demand decreases as a result of the end of the school year, so the usual hours will be resumed, on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 5:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. :00 p.m.
They recalled that it is important to maintain biosecurity measures in all Metro facilities, have a balance on transport cards or recharge them before entering the turnstiles and follow the recommendations of our Metro staff who will be duly identified, for better mobilization on trains and stations.
