Panama Metro will close this Sunday, January 22 in Loma Cová

This Sunday, January 22 between 6:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. There will be momentary 15-minute closures on the Pan-American highway in Loma Cová as part of the work on Line 3 of the Panama Metro.

A section of one of the two lanes leading to the center of the city will be disabled; while the two lanes leading to Arraiján will be enabled, in accordance with the Traffic Management Plan (PMT), approved by the Transit and Land Transportation Authority (ATTT).

The Panama Metro indicated that these closures are necessary to continue with the road improvements, such as the removal of vegetation, only in areas required to continue with the construction of the Loma Cová viaduct.

As part of its environmental commitment, the Panama Metro, SA develops the Environmental Management Management Plan, where one of its main projects is the Reforestation Plan for Ecological Compensation, which establishes the reforestation of more than 6 hectares.

They apologized for the inconvenience caused, and urged drivers to follow the traffic signs and security measures established in the area for their orientation.
