Panama Jazz Festival begins preparations for its 2024 edition

Bringing together acclaimed national and international artists, renowned educators and fans from around the world, the Panama Jazz Festival has become a cultural tourism attraction with the visit of more than 500,000 people from different latitudes, reaffirming its commitment to culture. and Panamanian education through jazz.

Fundación Danilo Pérez and the entire team behind the Panama Jazz Festival are preparing once again to carry out, from January 15 to 21, 2024, the largest and flagship event in the country, in its twenty-first edition paying tribute to the drummer, Panamanian composer and percussionist Billy Cobhan.

The announcement of the next edition of the festival and the honored artist was accompanied by the official presentation of the new image designed by Claire Nast, who was the winner of the design contest that the festival convened in 2022.

The last edition of the Panama Jazz Festival in January 2023 brought together more than 40 thousand people during 6 days of concerts, master classes and the great closing concert in the central quadrangle of the City of Knowledge and was possible thanks to the National Government, private companies and the media. Communication.

The Panama Jazz Festival is produced by Panama Jazz Productions for the benefit of the Danilo Pérez Foundation under the Co-production of the City of Knowledge.
