Panama has positioned itself as one of the three countries with the best infrastructure to hold congresses and conventions in the region, said the general director of the Panama Convention Center (PCC), Rodolfo Del Valle.
Del Valle assured that due to the capacity of the PCC to receive a larger volume of people in meetings and exhibitions, Panama is generating great expectations among congressmen and businessmen in the region, due to the fact that there are very few infrastructures similar to It is in Latin America, Central and South America.
The PCC, in Panama, the Convention Center, in Puerto Rico, and El Ágora in Bogotá, Colombia, are the three Convention Centers with the best infrastructure in the region.
“With the PCC we have entered the competition of the major leagues, and firstly our target is international, then regional and local,” he explained.
He added that the PCC is competing to become the venue for some 25 international events, scheduled until 2025.
