In Panama, 767,835 accumulated cases of Covid-19 have been recorded to date, of which 397 are new positive cases. For the last 24 hours, no deaths were reported for a cumulative of 8,178 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%.
A total of 757,190 people have recovered from the disease, of which 166 are added today as this group. 6,554 swab tests were applied in the last hours for a positivity of 6.1%.
Active cases in the country total 2,467, of which 2,393 are in home isolation and 74 are hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 2,380 at home and 13 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 66 in the Ward and 8 in the ICU.
Regarding vaccination, the Expanded Program of Immunization (PAI) of the Minsa informs that to date in the country they have applied 7,994,788 doses of vaccines against Covid-19; of them 3,455,368 they have been applied in the first dose; 3,048,653 in second dose and 1,479,105 booster dose.
In the population between 5 and 11 years old, 373,794 pediatric doses against Covid-19, of which 262,876 first doses and 110,918 second doses.
