The report prepared by the Expanded Program on Immunization showed that a total of 6,482,374 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have been applied in Panama. Of that total 3,132,650 have been applied in the first dose; 2,824,232 in second dose; 517,533 in booster doses and 7,959 in third doses.
The report reports until the cutoff at noon yesterday, more than a thousand pediatric doses placed to date. Vaccination of children between the ages of 5 and 11 began on Friday.
The coverage of the target population, now 5 years of age or older, is 78.9% with the first dose and 71.1% with the second dose.
This Saturday, January 8, in Los Andes Mall, 906 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were applied to people 16 years of age and older.
