From January 21, 2021 to July 10, 2023, through the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI), the Operation Panavac-19 team has applied 8,935,827 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 throughout the country.
According to the report from January 11 to July 10, 182,883 doses of the bivalent vaccine were applied to people over 12 years of age; From February 10 to July 10, 9,520 doses have been applied to children from 5 to 11 years old and 440 doses applied to children from 6 months to 4 years, this last group from June 1 to July 10, making a total of 192 thousand 843 doses of bivalent vaccines applied from 6 months onwards, throughout the country.
Likewise, it was reported that the total doses of bivalent vaccines applied by condition from January 11 to July 10, 2023, a total of 193,966 have been applied.
This group includes personnel from the Joint Task Force (National Police, Fire Department, Sinaproc, Senan and Senafront), Public Transport drivers, chronic patients, Health Sciences students and pregnant women.
In the main private hospitals in the city, a total of 153,995 doses have been placed, against Covid-19, from August 17, 2022 to date. Of which, 5 thousand 955 doses of the Pfizer Bivalent vaccine have been applied, in this period of time.
The Ministry of Health reminds the population that vaccines save lives, are free, and informs that authorized points are maintained in health centers, police centers, and health subcenters throughout the country.
The population is reiterated to maintain self-care measures such as: constant hand washing, the use of masks in closed places, the use of alcohol gel and vaccination with bivalent doses, to continue the decrease in cases from Covid-19.
