The tenth container with 1,320 boxes of Quetzali-type watermelon, harvested mostly by producers in El Pedregoso in the district of Pesé, began its route to the US market, specifically to Brooklyn in New York, reported the Ministry of Agricultural Development.
The cucurbitaceae was packed and stowed by the Panama Squash company, located in El Barrero de Pesé.
Panama Squash is one of the 4 agro-export companies established in Herrera.
