The report from the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, which for today reported 3,244 new positive cases of Covid-19, specifies that Panama City continues to lead the list of infections and the districts with the highest number of reported cases San Francisco 101; Beautiful View 97; Juan Díaz 92 and Betania with 91 cases.
The report highlights that to date in Panama, 882,253 accumulated cases of Covid-19 have been reported to date.
In the last 24 hours, four (4) deaths were reported and one (1) from previous dates was updated for a total of 8,284 deaths and a lethality of 0.9%.
Those recovered from the disease amount to 846,493, of which 2,346 are newly recovered. 15,271 were applied for a positivity of 21.2%.
The total number of active cases in the country is 27,476. Of them, 27,152 are in home isolation and 324 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 27,116 at home and 36 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 289 in the Ward and 35 in the ICU.
