Panama and India strengthen cultural and educational ties with the signing of a new agreement

A cultural and educational cooperation agreement was signed between the ministries of culture of Panama and India.
The Panamanian Minister of Culture Giselle González Villarrué and her counterpart for foreign affairs and culture from India, Meenakshi Lekhi, signed this agreement in order to strengthen ties between governments and share initiatives aimed at the execution, formalization and deepening of cultural exchange activities. .

Through the agreement, programs are established in the field of music, dance festivals, promotion of plays, exchange of exhibitions, experiences and art exhibitions.

According to Minister González, Panama is pleased to consolidate cultural relations with the people and government of India, for which she thanked her counterpart “for the trust and important collaboration that they have always given to the Panamanian people.”

While the Indian minister considered it a great honor to be in Panama and enjoy the relations between the two countries “which are warm and friendly and who will be by your side in time turning 60”.

He added that they maintain an incredible tangible and intangible legacy with a great cultural richness in performing arts, crafts, music and dance, so they must recognize it, take care of it and preserve it.
