Epidemiology report
For today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health reported that in the last 24 hours nine deaths were registered and one from previous dates was updated for a cumulative total of 8,073 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%. The total of recovered amounts to 739,724 of which 1,174 are new recovered. 7,059 tests were carried out for a positivity of 7.7%.
There are 7,108 active cases, of which 6,917 are in home isolation and 191 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 6,879 at home and 38 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 163 in the ward and 28 in the ICU.
In Panama until today there are 754,905 confirmed accumulated cases; of which 543 are new cases.
Vaccination
Vaccination against Covid-19 does not stop, because this Saturday 210 children between the ages of 5 and 11 received their pediatric dose, as well as 372 children over 12 years of age, this in the district of San Miguelito.
This Covid-19 vaccination process continues this Sunday, February 27, at Los Andes Mall, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
