Brazil has already defined the flags athletes for the opening ceremony of the Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay, on Saturday (9), at Defensors Del Chaco Stadium.
Juliana Viana, from Badminton, and Filipe Mota, from Skate, will have the responsibility to take the flags at the opening parade of the event that starts at 19h (Brasília time).
“It’s an immense honor, I’m speechless, in ecstasy yet, but all I can say is gratitude for everything I’m going through and the trajectory I come to form with the Brazil team,” Juliana said in a statement given to Brazilian Olympic Committee website (COB).
The 20 -year -old athlete, who has played the Paris Olympic Games last year, is one of the highlights of the Brazilian delegation.
Alongside Juliana, Filipe Mota, a 19 -year -old skate revelation, said she prepares a different entrance to the delegations parade.
“It’s my first time at Pan Junior, and I can represent Brazil at this ceremony is very rewarding. I will honor the Brazilian flag, which will enter me skateboarding. It will be the time, too much,” said Skatista Mineiro to the COB website.
The Junior Pan American Games, which bring together athletes up to 23 years old, will be played until August 23 and gathers 4,000 athletes from 42 modalities. The delegation of Brazil is composed of 358 athletes.
