Interviewed when attending the report of the governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kurithe also plurinominal senator, revealed that there are several legislators, -two of whom are PAN members-, who received threats and offers of money to vote in favor of Judicial Reform.
“There are several, at least from the National Action Party, I am aware of two senators “I cannot tell you who they are being intimidated for obvious reasons. And I am also aware of several cases of the PRI and of the MC party, I am aware of at least one. What is a fact is that the Morena regime is shopping around, on the one hand it brings the Attorney General’s Office and on the other it brings the budget,” he said.
The national leader of the PAN warned that the threats and pressures against the opposition senators are not only directed against them, but also against some members of their families, which he described as serious and unacceptable.
“They are creating different investigation files and threatening them and their families and are seeking to bribe them with multiple offers, from their states and from the Federation,” he said.
Marko Cortés assured that there is already a commitment on the part of the 43 senators of the PAN, PRI and Movimiento Ciudadano to go to the plenary session of the Senate of the Republic to analyze and vote against the Judicial Reform.
“It is very important to say this, it is not enough to vote against, you have to be present because an absence would cause the Morena regime to have a qualified majority and for that reason I do trust that they will be loyal to the Mexicans who elected them” he stressed.
I demand that the federal government and Morena stop pressuring opposition senators with their prosecutors, that they stop trying to bribe them, that they accept that in the Senate of the Republic the people of Mexico did not give them a qualified majority to do whatever they want…
