The Venezuelan Embassy in Senegal commemorated the International Day of Peace with a meeting between the Pan-Africanist Youth Organization of Senegal and the Pan-Africanist Federal Movement of Guinea Bissau, which was attended by young people and social leaders, to express the solidarity of the Pan-African movement with the Bolivarian nation and its categorical and resounding rejection of the actions of fascism in the world.
During the meeting, Venezuelan Ambassador Regzeida González thanked these expressions of support and solidarity with Venezuela, while highlighting the peaceful and fraternal orientation of Venezuelan foreign policy, based on the universal respect for human rights, the self-determination of peoples and the defense of the just causes of the oppressed.
In this regard, the ambassador and the Pan-African youth activists agreed to organize regular activities, both in person and online, in order to advance the discussion of related issues and consolidate a single bloc to defend common causes.
For his part, the coordinator of the Pan-Africanist Movement of Guinea Bissau, Mamadou Djabi, spoke of his recent experience at the World Anti-Fascist Congress, held in Caracas, Venezuela, on September 10 and 11, when he witnessed the leadership of the South American nation in promoting universal human rights, respect for human life and the importance of maintaining unity in the common cause of fighting fascism in all its forms.
