PAMI announced great news for its affiliates

PAMI (Comprehensive Medical Care Program) announced great news for its affiliates, a few days before the end of the year. This is an agreement through which free medicines will be guaranteed in 2023.

The social work signed an agreement with pharmaceutical entities and national and international laboratories to guarantee free medicines next year. The measure will benefit 5 million PAMI affiliates.

The agreement establishes that “the price adjustments at which PAMI purchases the medicines that it dispenses for free are below the increases in the main macroeconomic variables,” according to the program.

At the same time, they highlighted: “It makes it possible to guarantee the continuity of the average monthly savings of the affiliates of the institute, which this month reached 8,500 pesos per retiree”.

The agreement also establishes “the reduction of delivery times for oncological drugs and special treatments, to guarantee access to treatments in a timely manner for the most sensitive segment.”
