Palmeiras scores 11-0 and takes 3rd place in the Brazilian Women’s Championship

Palmeiras thrashed Ceará by 11 to 0, this Saturday afternoon (1) at Allianz Parque, to assume the 3rd position of Série A1 do Brasileiro Feminino. With the triumph, Palestrinas reached 14 points, one less than leader Corinthians and vice-leader Flamengo. The Meninas do Vozão, on the other hand, remain at the bottom of the standings without any points after six rounds.

The highlights of Palmeiras’ victory were Bia Zaneratto, Laís Estevam and Sorriso, all with two goals, and Letícia Ferreira, with three goals. Duda Santos and Dudinha completed the scoring. In the next round, Ceará receives Cruzeiro and Palestrinas dispute classic with Cortinthians.

Also this Saturday, Grêmio beat Santos 1-0 at CFT Hélio Dourado, in Eldorado do Sul, thanks to a goal by Dani Ortolan. With the result, the Grêmio girls took the 6th position with ten points. The Girls of the Village remain with eight points, in 8th place.

Internacional also triumphed, but by 3-2 over Avaí, at Estádio Morada dos Quero-Queros, in Alvorada. Mileninha (twice) and Bruna Benites scored for Gurias Coloradas. Limpia already scored in two opportunities to discount.
