SANTO DOMINGO.- After thanking the support expressed by senators and mayors for his continuity as president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), José Ignacio Paliza announced this Friday that in the next few days he will make a decision about his future as head of the political organization, after insisting on the importance of maintaining party unity at the national level.
“As a militant, the unit must always be north of all purposes, serve from wherever they need us,” Paliza expressed through a message posted on his Twitter account.
Paliza thanked the support received by the 18 senators of the PRM, who signed a manifesto of support for the Executive Directorate of the organization, where they assured that the party is led by applying a Peñagomist sentiment, which has resulted in the organization being the largest in the Dominican political system.
Likewise, the president of the PRM thanked the mayors of that political organization who, last week, signed a similar document expressing their support for the party’s leadership.
¨The sincere support of all the senators of the @PRM_Oficial has a lot of meaning for us. It has been 4 years of hard work, full of great challenges. Thanks for the encouragement¨, he posted.
Paliza assured that the PRM will continue to be the main supporter of the policies of change developed by the government headed by President Luis Abinader, and affirmed that they will continue to transform the country into unity.
