The covid-19 pandemic changed payment methods throughout Latin America, highlighting the use of digital wallets, a payment method that already has more than 12.5 million users in Peru and has excellent growth projections. In this sense, PagoEfectivo and Niubiz joined forces so that users can carry out transactions in businesses affiliated with their network through a QR code.

The use of QR codes as payment methods gained great relevance as the safest alternative for those who leave their homes to make purchases, since it avoids contact with cash or the exchange of cards and documents with the seller.
