The Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, on the occasion of the 201 years of the Battle of Carabobo and Army Day, emphasized that Venezuela continues to fight, the people and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), resisting the aggressions of those who intend to undermine the sovereignty of the country.
“We are witnessing a time of resistance in the midst of the virtuous cycle, and we are here in Carabobo to fill ourselves with strength and resistance to the temptations of betrayal and to re-colonize ourselves,” said Padrino López, during his speech at the event on the occasion of the commemoration of the 201 years of the Battle of Carabobo, in the Campo de Carabobo.
Likewise, the Minister for Defense highlighted the heroism of the Venezuelan people who have advanced despite the sanctions and aggressions of the empire of this century.
“We have advanced in the midst of a storm, we see this military parade with a patriotic spirit, a wonderful demonstration of patriotism by our Bolivarian Army 201 years after the deed of Carabobo, campaign and victorious battle,” he said.

He stressed that in the 201 years of the Battle of Carabobo, it is also necessary to remember the resistance and strength of those who rejected the acts of betrayal, division and fragmentation of the Bolivarian dream.
