Padrino López: priority for the FANB is ideology and doctrine

The Minister of Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, pointed out that the first priority of the Bolivarian Armed Forces (FANB) is to maintain a military body with “ideology, with history to follow, with doctrine.”

This statement was issued by the Minister of Defense on his account on the social network Instagram, where he posted a video indicating that the FANB’s second priority is to continue with the civic-military-police fusion.

“The other is to seek and ensure the self-sustainability of the FANB, the whole issue of innovation, technology, information, all of this issue we also have to develop without pause, maintain all the operational readiness, all that I call the Force Heavy navy, we must try to keep it in the territory, so that when it is used they give their response,” he stated.

Finally, he stated that the “FANB is Bolivarian and patriotic, in perfect civic-military-police fusion, self-sustaining, with technological independence and a high level of operational readiness, it is a guarantee that Venezuela is impregnable! All military power at the service of the peace and prosperity of Venezuela!”
