The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) is exhibited as a first -line military institution in Latin America, thanks to the evolution registered in its 88th anniversary, which also includes a true revolution in the last 26 years of history, said the sectoral vice president of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.
From Fuerte Tiuna, where he celebrated the new anniversary of the component, together with officers, older generals, admirals and members of the General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the Minister for Defense also had doubts in praising these years of revolution in the ranks of this institution.
“We applaud that conception because we really see GNB, a component that has not only evolved, but has been an evolution in 26 years in revolution. It is not the same to evolve as revolutionize!”, He summed up during his words of congratulations to the body.
He recalled that Commander Hugo Chávez Frías incorporated the GNB constitutionally to the FANB, a fundamental step in this revolution of Venezuelan military history.
During his speech, he recalled that Venezuela is aware of the great threats from abroad, by drug traffickers and terrorists who intend to alter the peace of Venezuelans.
He insisted that the soldiers of the homeland are a symbol of combat and spirit against the terrorists “who have been disguised as protesters,” but they are terrorists who have murdered hundreds of Venezuelans. “The extremists and stateless have not been anything other than terrorism, permanent deception and manipulation to their followers, but the ultra -right does not have another one, then, but to come with terrorist practices (…) and have spilled Venezuelan blood while we fight and defend peace and homeland.”
He finally directed a message to the terrorists who from abroad intend to create a narrative against the Bolivarian Republic on the issue of drug trafficking. “They will stay with the desire because no one can overshadow the truth and the truth is that the FANB and the GNB are giving a knockout to drug trafficking and smuggling.”
Award and monument
Padrino López and the Authorities of the FANB and the GNB carried out on this date the inauguration of the eclectic monument of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard, and granted decorations to the outstanding officers, as well as two indispensable canine pets that detect drugs, in the lightning operation of the Catatumbo, in Zulia, against drug trafficking and cross -border crime.
Likewise, he granted the Cruz of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), in his first class, to members of the GNB, for his work, commitment and delivery to defend peace and combat crime in the nation.
Similarly, he decorated canines that actively contribute to the fight against drug trafficking and other related crimes.
For his part, the General Commander of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) of Venezuela, Major General Elio Ramón Estrada Paredes, said that: “On this historic day we ratify our oath before God, before the homeland, before the immortal thought of Bolívar, of Chávez and of our President of the Republic and commander in chief, Nicolás Maduro Mooros, of defending the life of the people, of the national territory, institutions, socialist and Venezuelan democracy. ”
“As our President Maduro said, if you want peace, prepare to defend it, preserve it and build it,” paraphrased the senior military officer, from Fuerte Tiuna, where he accompanied the military ceremony of commemoration for this new anniversary of the component.
He took the opportunity to direct a direct message to stateless and enemies of Venezuela. “Never forget, representatives of evil trying to alter order and peace. They will get the answer in the national anthem. We will go next to the glorious and brave people to destroy the imperialist yoke.”
Paredes congratulated each member of the GNB, and prompted them to stay as protectors of the guarantees of the good citizen, women, children, men, within the civic-popular-military-political fusion; in the Constitution and laws as tools of the State to protect the sacred interests of the nation and comply with the precepts of protecting the internal order and peace of the Republic.
He informed that 28 GNB procedures manuals have been updated and graduated from more than 14,838 sergeants seconds of the different training schools through the Lieutenant Pedro Camejo Study Plan. He also highlighted other important aspects within the popular police fusion, as part of the Bolivarian shield 2025, with which the doctrine for the integral action of the internal order was unified, for the defense of peace, as well as the current pacification of the penitentiary system with the Great Guaicaipuro Cacique Operation.
He recalled that the commander in chief, Nicolás Maduro, has developed strategic lines for the FANB in this 2025, as a military planning and conduction instrument, to accompany the soul and the will to fight and the resistance of all Venezuelans in the face of threats and in defense of national integrity and sovereignty.
“Companions of arms and struggle, it is time for loyalty, keep focused so as not to get carried away by siren songs, be firm in the face of adversity, be faithful to their promises, because I assure you that the history will recognize it, the people will recognize it, and that will make them feel worthy, honorable and proud to serve the best citizen of the world: the Venezuelan people.”
