Padrino López calls to maintain unity and serenity

The sectoral vice president of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, called on all sectors of national life to abide by the call for unity made by the acting president Delcy Rodríguez to defeat the aggressions of the United States government.

He asserted that in the current moments that the country faces, “intrigue” and “sectarianism” are attitudes that do not contribute to peace.

For this reason, he highlighted that “from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces we are committed to supporting and abiding by the call of the acting president, Dr. Delcy Rodríguez, for unity, in these difficult and stellar times that our Republic is experiencing.”

The Minister for Defense also said that since the physical departure of Commander Hugo Chávez, one of the purposes that has guided his management has been “to avoid bloodshed between Venezuelans and the division of the Fanb.”

«Sterile polarization does nothing to help peace. “It is time for national unity and historical consciousness!” he stressed.

The statement by General-in-Chief Vladimir Padrino López adds to the call made by the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who has urged the Venezuelan people to maintain unity, integrity and perseverance in the defense of national dignity.
