The Minister for Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, condemned the request for an international military invasion in Venezuela by the former presidents of Colombia, Álvaro Uribe and Iván Duque, in turn, supported by the Venezuelan opponent residing in Spain, Leopoldo Lopez.
“Here you will find the sons and daughters of Bolívar and Chávez in perfect popular-military-police fusion,” refuted Padrino López, who assured that they are “willing to defend this land until the last breath if necessary.”
Dark anti-politics characters
The military chief maintained that “we could not expect anything else from these dark anti-political figures (Álvaro Uribe, Iván Duque and Leopoldo López), who, acting as agents of imperialism, openly and irresponsibly call for armed intervention in our homeland.” .
Along these same lines, Padrino López assured those who request military action that, “Neither you nor anyone will disturb the peace of Venezuela!”
