Pacifying My Neighborhood Program pays more than 39 thousand balboas in San Miguelito

The Pacifying My Neighborhood Program paid the sum of B/. 468.55 in vouchers redeemable in shops, supermarkets and pharmacies, to people who voluntarily delivered 1 firearm, 110 ammunition, 8 suppliers, 1 explosives and 5 accessories to the Sports Field of the José Domingo Espinar township.

During one day one month in the San Miguelito district, the Pacifying My Neighborhood Program paid the sum of B/. 39,633.80 in vouchers redeemable in shops, supermarkets and pharmacies, to people who have voluntarily delivered 60 firearms, 4,587 ammunition, 117 suppliers, 199 explosives and 74 accessories.

The Pacifying My Neighborhood Program will continue on July 11 and 12, in the Parque de Las Madres in the township of Pedregal; on July 17 and 18 at the Cabuya Sports Center, in the township of Tocumen; and on the 20th and 21st at the Roberto Durán Arena, in the Juan Díaz corregimiento.

On July 24, it will move to the Sports Complex of the village of Las Mañanitas; and on July 26 and 27 it will be at the Roberto Kelly stadium in the village of Don Bosco.

Pacifying My Neighborhood has the collaboration of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Government, the National Police, the Government of the Province of Panama, mayors, community boards and local organizations.
