“Uruguay is one of the countries that most reports the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals” (SDG), says Pablo Ruiz Hiebra, resident coordinator of the United Nations in Uruguay. This encourages the hope that the country will make “the great leap to the first division of development in the economic, social and environmental spheres,” says Ruiz Hiebra. He also recalls that this process must take into account at all times the mandate of “leaving no one behind” of the 2030 Agenda.
