Over 40% is occupied by the covid-19 ICU in Bogotá

In recent days in Bogotá reported a reduction in cases. On April 14, there were 117 and a day later 87 were reported. However, it could be expected that after Easter they will increase.

Currently, the occupation Total ICU is found in 65.6% with 1,152 occupied beds. And the total number of beds reported by IPS is 1,757.

On the other hand, in the COVID-19 ICU there are 209 beds occupied. Meanwhile, the total number reported by IPS is 508.

Since July 2021 there has been a reduction in ICU beds. Before it was around 2,700, now it’s over 1,000.

It should be noted that in the most recent report on coronavirus in Colombia, 205 infections were registered, a drop compared to the 264 cases on Thursday.

As for deaths, there was one less, when three deaths were reported.

These figures are given after processing 9,782 tests, of which 5,004 were PCR and 4,778 antigen.

With this new balance, the total number of infections throughout the pandemic in Colombia rises to 6,089,381 and deaths to 139,741.
In addition, the authorities reported that active cases stand at 3,327, while the number of recovered is already 5,922,639.
