Silvio Ovelar, re-elected senator for the next parliamentary term, indicated that there was no electoral fraud and that Paraguayo Cubas and Efraín Alegre do not make mea culpa and try to justify the electoral failure.
In an interview with the press, the senator-elect who received the most votes reflected on the recent elections in Paraguay, where the Colorado Party won with a landslide victory and the opposition had one of its worst elections in history.
“The people finally demonstrated at the polls, the Colorado Party has obtained a great victory, the greatest in this democratic era and as we already predicted in conversations we had, we reached our own majority in the Senate, we won 15 out of 17 governorships the first time this happens.
