OTEP teachers demand return of items from retired teachers

“We want the items to be returned to educational institutions, the items of retirees must be returned, we have exhausted all instances, it is not that we started directly with this demonstration,” explained teacher Blanca Ávalos from OTEP, in an interview with 1020 A.M.

He indicated that this assignment was suspended during the pandemic and that they thought it would be restored with the return to face-to-face classes, however, such a thing did not happen.

He denounced that many schools are closing due to lack of resources to cover teachers’ salaries.

In this sense, he maintained that another of the claims is that of a higher budget for the MEC for 2023.
