AquaRating
The AquaRating is a system based on an international standard for the evaluation of water and sanitation service providers, devised in 2008 by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and developed in partnership with the International Water Association to contribute to sustained progress of the companies. During the application of the AquaRating, opportunities for improvement in the EPS are identified and applied immediately.
Of the 8 areas evaluated in the Moqueguan company, the Corporate Governance and Service Quality areas obtained the high scores of 84.73 and 78.47, respectively. “The commitment of the technicians and officials of the provider, the technical assistance of the IDB and the follow-up by Otass were key factors for the success in qualifying EPS Moquegua in the AquaRating”, added the executive director of Otass.
