The Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Sexual Violence, Trafficking in Persons and Juvenile Criminal Justice of Oruro, issued the arrest warrant and international red notice against Gabriel Alejandro Puente Gutiérrez, accused of the crime of Trafficking in Persons, fearing that he had left the country. He is of legal age and had a romantic relationship with the missing teenager Leticia Mikaela Medina Rivero, 16, who left her home to meet him, at averaging 11:00 p.m. on March 18.

On Thursday, March 24, agents from the specialized Intelligence and Human Trafficking units of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), at the head of the Public Ministry, raided the family home of Gabriel Puente where they seized several elements, as well as some cell phones of several members of her family, to carry out the triangulation of calls and the crossing of information that comes from text messages and social networks that allow finding the whereabouts of the disappeared adolescent.

Pastor Flores, head of the Directorate for Equal Opportunities (DIO) of the Autonomous Municipal Government of Oruro, reported that, through the Ombudsman for Children and Adolescents (DNA), there is contact with his peers at the national level with whom he is crossing necessary information that allows to find the whereabouts of the teenager.
On the other hand, he pointed out that, after the rescue of the young mother and her twins, all the required protocols were activated to provide the necessary protection, as well as the psychological support of minors found to be victims of the fact under investigation by the Public Ministry.
