The Police of the regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo repressed this Friday citizens and members of the Yatama party, in Bilwi, North Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua, after they met for the anniversary of that political organization and to present electoral fraud to the leadership. of last November 6, denounced Open Ballot Boxes.
The civil organization pointed out that since 2:00 in the afternoon of this Friday it received the report that Yatama’s house, in Bilwi, was besieged by the Police; and later there was a confrontation against the community members.
“We denounce the police aggression against protesters in Bilwi. On the North Caribbean Coast, the population denounces that in municipalities such as Waspán, the FSLN (political party Sandinista National Liberation Front) manipulated the results to steal the mayoralties from them,” Urnas Abiertas reported through its Twitter account.

The videos published by that organization show agents from the Directorate of Special Police Operations (DOEP), or riot police, throwing tear gas canisters at citizens to pull them back, while the police mobilized on motorcycles.
Same scenario in Waspán
This Thursday, Urnas Abiertas also denounced the militarization of the municipality of Waspán, when the authorities and militants of Yatama were preparing to make a “claim” for the dispossession of some mayors, in which, according to that party, they won.
“Militants from Yatama assure that they won the mayorships in several municipalities of the RACCN (North Caribbean Coast) and that the ruling party intends to steal them. Before the demands of the citizens, the police reacted with aggressions, ”said the civil organization this Thursday, through social networks.
Until this Friday, the Police prevented entry to the Yatama party houses in Bilwi and Waspán.
