The regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo continues its raid against non-governmental organizations (NGOs). This Friday, June 10, the dictatorship ordered the cancellation of 24 international entities that did not register as “foreign agents”, according to two administrative agreements of the Ministry of the Interior (Migob) published in La Gaceta No. 106 of this Friday, June 10. June 2022.
The resolutions establish that “Non-Profit Organizations failed to comply with their obligations in accordance with the laws that regulate them: Law No. 1115, Law No. 977 and its Regulations, as well as Law No. 1040 (not registering as Foreign Agents, being obligated subjects)”, this last law approved by the dictatorship in a context of repression.

The canceled NGOs correspond to countries that have applied sanctions to officials of the Daniel Ortega dictatorship, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and countries of the European Union. The canceled organizations are:

6. Stichting SNVNederlandseOntwikkelingsorganisatie (SNV Dutch Service for Development Cooperation), originally from the Netherlands.
7. Nuevas Esperanzas UK, originally from the United Kingdom.
8. Stichting SNV Nederlandse Ontwikkelingsorganisatie (SNV Dutch Service for Development Cooperation), originally from the Netherlands.
9. Third World House (DWH), ongrnary from Germany.
10. Terra Nuova, originally from Italy.
