“Serve the Certification of this Agreement and that of the inauguration of the Attorney General of the Republic, as sufficient enabling documents to prove their representation,” the agreement emphasizes.

Finally, they point out that this order will take effect as of its publication in La Gaceta, the official newspaper, which means that as of that date, this property is already an asset of the Army of this country.

Ortega’s royalties to his Army

It is not the first time that the dictator Ortega rewards the loyalty of his Army, since in another presidential decree published this month, he ordered the Attorney General’s Office to “appear before the State Notary to sign a public deed of donation in favor of the Nicaraguan Army» of a real estate located in Barrio Dos Mil, in the urban area of the municipality of Cruz de Río Grande, in the Autonomous Region of the South Caribbean Coast».

This other property, which the Army now owns, has a total area of 9,570 square meters and is registered with cadastral number 8405-4093-1024-18. Since 2020, the regime has given away around 10 properties to the operators of the repression. Previously, the Presidency donated properties located in Chinandega (3), León (1), San Rafael del Sur (1), Boaco (1), Jinotepe, Carazo (1) Managua (1) and now Matagalpa (1), Rosita, North Caribbean Coast (1).

The Army is still not sanctioned by the United States Department of the Treasury, but its main bosses are; such as the case of General Julio César Avilés, head of the military institution, and Colonel Julio Modesto Rodríguez Balladares, director of the Military Social Welfare Institute (IPSM), under accusations of cooperating with Ortega in institutional dismantling and human rights violations.

The Nicaraguan Army is one of the institutions faithful to the decisions of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo. Avilés has publicly expressed his loyalty to the Ortega and Murillo regime.
