Orsi receives support from the great-great-grandson of Aparicio Saravia and founder of the 404 list of Lacalle Pou

On Tuesday night, Yamandu Orsi received the endorsement of a new leader of the National Partyin a day in which he managed to add more and more politicians from the traditional parties who they deny Álvaro Delgado as candidate of the right-wing coalition.

It is about Marcelo Muate Saravialawyer, agricultural producer in Santa Clara del Olimar, law professor, former departmental councilor for the National Party in Montevideo, founder of the Aire Fresco sector and List 404 together with Luis Lacalle Pou, in which he became a substitute deputy of Álvaro Delgado and, what he considers “the greatest honor”, great-great-grandson of Aparicio Saravia.

Next November 24, I am going to vote for Yamandú Orsi. On November 24, political parties will not be voted on, presidential formulas and people will be voted on. I vote for Orsi because I consider him a transparent and honest man, and when it comes to comparison, he comes from scandals and complaints coming from the Executive Tower that led to criminal complaints, resignations of hierarchs, ministers, advisors, and, eventually, the political and criminal responsibilities,” argued Maute Saravia.

And he added: “I vote for Orsi also because I consider him an executive man, he was in charge of the Municipality of Canelones for 10 years, and not only did he have the majority in the Departmental Board granted to him by the Constitution of the Republic, but he also knew how to make agreements with mayors and councilors from other political parties and do good management.”

Maute Saravia says that Orsi is “conciliatory”

“The Parliament that emerged on October 27 is a Parliament divided into two halves, into two coalitions, and no law will be able to come out due to the will of a single party. They are going to have to reconcile, and I believe that Yamandú Orsi also meets that condition of power carry out a conciliatory and harmonious Executive Branch in the coming years,” said the nationalist leader in the video posted on social networks by himself.

“Next Sunday we play an important stop, and my decision is a calm, thoughtful and meditated decision. I know that grievances, insults, disqualifications will come out, typical of those who have no arguments or anything else to do other than denigrate others,” Maute Saravia concluded the short video.
